Maine State Sportsman Show in Augusta
Due to the COVid19 virus situation, the 2022 Sportsman Show usually in March may be canceled again. WMF&G is looking forward to being at the show in 2023. However, the Club is selling $5.00 raffle tickets for its Annual Fundraiser and they're now available. Two firearms: A Tristar Trinity 12 ga. O/U shotgun and Henry 45-70 Wildlife Edition rifle. 3-2-1 Gun Challenge
WMF&G 3-Gun Challenge! STAY TUNED FOR THE DATE OF THE NEXT 3-GUN CHALLENGE! The last challenge was Saturday, October 2nd. It started at 8:45AM with a mandatory safety briefing. The range was closed down at 5:00PM the Friday evening before to set up for the shoot. After the mandatory safety meeting, the 3-2-1 Gun Challenge began at 9:00. Shooters tested their skills against fellow shooters using a rifle, shotgun, pistol; one, two or all three! NOTE: Western Maine Fish & Game follows IDPA rules along with standard range rules. The event consists of 2 stages to test the shooter's ability with a rifle, a shotgun and/or a pistol. The "Challenge" is open to all shooters & spectators. Some virus precautions are necessary. Lunch is be available to purchase! For those unfamiliar, the 3-2-1 Gun Challenge is a "move and shoot" course. Run 1, 2 or all 3 classes. $10 for each class. Shooters need 100 rounds minimum per class and 3 Mags each for rifle and pistol. There usually is a Gun Raffle Prize Giveway!! These events are fun shoots to help raise money for the club. During the shoot, the range is closed to all other activities. Shooters are expected to plan ahead and make themselves familiar with the basic guidelines for the event located at the bottom right of our Home page. Trap Shooting & Range Notes
TRAP SHOOTING: WMF&G offers trap shooting Sunday mornings November through February at 10:00 AM, weather permitting! (March through October 9:00 AM.)
RIFLE/PISTOL RANGE CLOSED: The ranges are open from 9:00 AM until sunset.

Sponsors Signs Fundraiser!
The Sponsorship Fee: First year, $150. Includes a metal 18" X 24" sign. Signs face parking lot. Subsequent years $100 per year! If Muddy River Signs (Bridgton) has your logo on file, provide a copy with payment to WMF&G. If not, please email your logo to: club_secretary@outlook.com
Hunter Safety Courses!
Unfortunately, the Hunter Safety training course this spring and fall had to be canceled. Next course TBA.
WMF&G Individual dues are $45.00; Family $55.00.
To pay your annual dues, see Secretary Jody Bedard Sunday AM during Trap Shooting; mail him a check; or see him at our 6:30 PM meeting on the third Tuesday of the month!
Donations to local food pantry!
WMF&G has a box in the clubhouse for food donations (non-perishable canned/boxed goods) to be provided to our local food bank.
