Maine State Sportsman Show in Augusta

3-2-1 Gun Challenge

3-2-1 Gun Challenge

On September 28, 2019, after the mandatory safety meeting at 9:45, the second 3-2-1 Gun Challengeon in 2019 began at 10:00. Shooters tested their skills against fellow shooters using a rifle, shotgun, pistol; one, two or all three! Western Maine Fish & Game followed IDPA rules along with standard range rules. The event consisted of 2 stages to test their ability with a rifle, a shotgun and/or a pistol. The event was open to all shooters & spectators. The program: A 3-2-1 Gun Challenge is a "move and shoot" course. Run 1,2 or all 3 classes. $10 for first class; $5.00 each additional. WMF&G plans three more such events in 2020, so plan ahead! These events are fun shoots to help raise money for the club. Be advised: During the shoot, the range is closed to all other activities. As at previous "Challenges", lunch will be available to purchase! Shooters: Make yourself familiar with the basic guidelines for the event at the bottom right of our Home page or on our Facebook page.
